This piece was inspired by a crisp winter walk I took many years ago. I love how the willow trees branches droop and sway in the breeze and create spindly finger like shapes against the clear blue sky. I used inks on paper to create the fluidity and movement of the branches.
 
This ink painting comes unframed, however, it would look beautiful mounted and framed in black to accentuate the stark branches.
